Camp Objectives
6-22- Outdoor range accross from the school at MLHS- Develop a solid setup and learn how swing length controls distance.
Learn swing plane.
Learn the sweet spot on the club.
Make consistent contact with the ball.
6-23- Rain forcasted, indoor at Field House-Learn to hit repeatable shots from 30-50 yards.
Reinforce previously learned objectives.
Work on control with different types of swings.
Work on hitting targets.
6-24- Learn to control ball flight.
Reinforce previously learned objectives.
Hit targets at different distances.
Foot adjustment for more short game control.
6-25- Apply everything learned.
Reinforce previously learned objectives.
Challenges at the range to put it all together.

2027 MLHS High School Golf Season Schedule:
MN State High School League Start Date: March 22, 2027
1st Meets- April 1, 2027
Sections Week of June 1-8, 2027
MSHSL State Tournament June 15-16, 2027- Pebble Creek, Becker
The schedule is set for the season and on the "schedule" page above. The teams will be set for each meet a few days before and is a process of coaches evaluation but more importantly a player input on how they feel for a match that week. AS we get closer to the 1st match in April names will be added to the corresponding lists.

Coach Notes
The Teams
Mayer Lutheran Golf Teams as set each week for the Varsity and JV meets. Those not selected for the meet will still practice. Additional seeds for a Varsity or JV meet might be allotted based on the host.
The iWanamaker app will have the seeds as well as the weekly emails.
For Boy's JV meets, we may need to rotate the meets between the roster. We will work with event hosts to play all players throughout the season.
